1. Our approach
Murphy Labs ("we") handles only the minimum information needed to operate Corridor Rumble and this website. We use no advertising, website analytics cookies, or advertising IDs. The app uses only the anonymous analytics described in Section 6.
2. Data stored on your device
Player names, settings, tutorial progress, match records, achievements, and customization unlocks are stored locally. Except for information such as a display name needed in an online match, this data is not sent to our server. You can remove it by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app.
3. Data processed during online play
When you use online play, our relay on Cloudflare Workers and Durable Objects temporarily processes:
- A six-digit room code, match role, and randomly generated reconnection session token
- Player display name, selected character, and ready status shared in the lobby
- Match setup, inputs, synchronization hashes, rematch, and leave messages
- A quick-match waiting room code for up to approximately 20 seconds
Game messages are relayed to the other player without being analyzed or separately recorded. Room metadata is retained only for the match and reconnection, then deleted when players leave, the room closes, or both players disconnect.
4. Network provider processing
We use Cloudflare, Inc. to deliver and protect the service. Cloudflare may process technical information such as IP addresses and user agents for delivery, security, and abuse prevention. We do not retain this as app-specific behavior history or a custom access log.
5. Sale and disclosure
We do not sell or disclose personal information except where required by law. Information required to run an online match is shared with the other player in that match.
6. Analytics and crash reporting
To improve the app, it sends the following anonymous information to our server on Cloudflare Workers. No personally identifying information, advertising IDs, or device identifiers are sent.
- A randomly generated install ID (created on your device and not linked to any account or person)
- Usage events: first launch; tutorial start, completion, and skip; match start, end (mode, result, duration), and abandonment
- Stability data: detection of abnormal app termination, and the location and message of script errors
You can stop sending at any time with the "Send usage data" toggle in Settings (opt-out); unsent data is discarded when disabled. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling discards the install ID, so later data cannot be linked to it.
